We Are Ready To Transform Ghanaian Music - ModernGhana.com

The management of Baron 1 Entertainment, a music production firm in Accra, has declared that it is committed to discovering, harnessing, developing and promoting Ghanaian music and talents.

The record company which has acted as the main hub for music of the highest quality in Ghana and Africa said it was ready to recruit talented musicians who would be groomed by music experts to meet the challenges ahead of them.

According to Baron's management, there were so many young talented artistes in the country who were looking for opportunities to develop their talent but were not being supported as expected.

In view of that, the Chief Executive Officers of Baron 1 Entertainment, Samuel Boateng and Michael Asiedu, who are also executive music producers, disclosed that their outfit was set to help discover such talented artistes, groom them and later present them to the world.

They noted that Ghanaian artistes, irrespective of their background, would receive the ultimate support from their outfit to enhance their musical talents in order to achieve their dream of becoming good musicians.

The two officers, in a joint interview with BEATWAVES disclosed that their outfit is solid in its activities, adding that they were ready to take the music industry in Ghana to another level.

Baron 1 Entertainment, which is working closely with Money Farm Records, had fine artistes on its label, as well as some of the finest industry players on its team in terms of creative direction.

They promised that Baron 1 Entertainment and Money Farm Records would work tirelessly to put Ghanaian and African music on the global map.

Outlining some of their plans for this year, the CEOs said currently they were planning to organize seminars and workshops to upgrade the talent and musical skills of some selected artistes.

They explained that their outfit could help musicians and composers by organising workshops and seminars for them.

'Our outfit will also help the musicians to showcase their talents through live musical performances among others. We are ready to transform Ghanaian music,' they said.

Baron 1 Entertainment and Money Farm Records are committed to nurturing music makers throughout their careers, and also institute training programmes which would be aimed at sharpening the skills and understanding of the musicians on copyright and other related rights in order to reduce piracy and help increase the contributions of intellectual property owners to the global economy.
